Where to use the Mop Handle (window slot)

Where the puzzle is

The slot is outside the 2nd-floor apartment's bedroom window, in the candle area where you met Sanguis and found the Triangular Stone.

The game hints at it earlier: the blinds in that bedroom can't be closed, and Julia notes “There's a hole to attach a lever.” The Mop Handle is that lever.

What you need

• Mop Handle: the production-office bathroom, opened with the Bathroom Key from the DEVORA poster puzzle

Step by step

1. Save the game

   Using the Mop Handle starts a boss fight right away, so save before you go.

2. Climb out of the 2nd-floor bedroom window

   Go to the bedroom of the 2nd-floor apartment and climb out of the window, the same way you went for the Triangular Stone.

   

3. Put the Mop Handle in the slot

   Outside, use the Mop Handle on the square slot in the wall. The Obscuratus boss fight begins.

If it doesn’t work

I can't find where the Mop Handle goes.

Not inside the bedroom: climb out of its window. The square slot is in the outside wall, in the candle area.

I don't have the Mop Handle yet.

It's in the production-office bathroom, left of the director's office. You need the Bathroom Key from burning the DEVORA poster.
