We Were Here Tomorrow Fuse Puzzle Solution (Mark's missing fuse, purple and green key cards)

Updated 21 Oct 2026 · Game version: Launch build (October 2026) ·

The answer in one line

Fill the empty sixth fuse socket with the fuse hanging from the robot arm (yellow pulls the lever to lower it, red grabs it with the pull gun), fetch the purple card through the anti-gravity room and the green card you can spot from above, put both cards in their slots, then both pull.

The layout matched across two separate playthroughs, so this is not randomized. Detailed steps below.

Where the puzzle is

Straight after the Warehouse lifts. A fuse panel has six round sockets in two rows of three; the bottom-right one is empty.

A handwritten note is taped to the panel door: "Stop hanging fuses in weird places when you go off duty, Mark!!! We get enough puzzles in our lives." That is your hint: the fuse is hanging somewhere.

Nearby are two key-card slots (purple and green), a spinning fan marked KEEP CLEAR, a conveyor chute, and a window into an anti-gravity room whose floor switches between pink and blue.

Not sure you’re in the right place? Search for your room in Quick find tool.

What you need

  • Red explorer's pull gun (to grab the hanging fuse)
  • Purple key card (through the anti-gravity room)
  • Green key card (visible from above in the anti-gravity room)

Step by step

  1. Both: read the fuse panel and the note

Count the sockets: six, with the bottom-right empty. Inspect the note on the panel door. Tell your partner: one fuse missing, and it is hanging somewhere.

  2. Get the purple card through the anti-gravity room

The purple card sits behind a one-way door that you reach by crossing the anti-gravity room. We could not tell from the videos which explorer goes in, so check both sides.

  3. Yellow: pull the lever. Red: grab the fuse

The missing fuse hangs from a red robot arm. One explorer pulls the lever (a yellow-grip handle on a small console) to lower it; in our session that was yellow. Red then catches the fuse with the pull gun and puts it in the empty socket. Only one robot-arm lever is needed. On the walkie, yellow: "Pulling the lever now, the fuse is coming down." Red: "Got it, putting it in the bottom-right socket."

  4. Find the green card from above

Look down into the anti-gravity room through the window or from the roof behind the conveyor. A small green item lies on the far wall edge when the floor is pink. A big lever then opens the door to it. Whoever spots it should say where it is relative to the cubes, because the other explorer cannot see it from the floor.

  5. Insert both cards, then both pull

Put the purple card and the green card in their matching slots, then both explorers pull at the same time to open the way to the Assembly Line. Say "three, two, one, pull" on the walkie so you pull together.

If it doesn’t work

We can't find the green key card.
It is not on your floor level. Look down into the anti-gravity room from above (the window or the roof behind the conveyor). In the session we watched, the players lost about five minutes here.
Do we need a second robot-arm lever?
No. One lever lowers the fuse; the other explorer grabs it.
Is the room the same every time?
Yes, as far as we can tell: the note, the empty bottom-right socket and the cube layout in the anti-gravity room matched across two separate playthroughs.
